WORKING with CHILDREN with Neurological Disorders
Practice-Oriented Advanced Training, with Theory and Techniques from NeuroMovement® and Feldenkrais® Methods.
Nancy Aberle and Stefanie Lauterbach have known each other since 2013. Nancy has run her own Feldenkrais® practice specializing in working with children in Zurich since 1998. Since 2004, she has provided advanced training in "WORKING WITH CHILDREN" for Feldenkrais® and NeuroMovement® practitioners. She has led numerous Feldenkrais projects for children and helped parents and practitioners establish centers for this work in many countries.
Stefanie completed her Feldenkrais training in 2006. Since then, she has been working with the Feldenkrais® Method in her own practice. In 2014, she began specializing in the application of the Feldenkrais® Method for working with children with special needs in Cologne and Hamburg. In 2025, she completed the NeuroHorizons® training with Sylvia Leiner Shordike. She has 27 years of experience as a systemic organizational consultant. Stefanie offers workshops for parents, intensive weeks for children, and supervision for practitioners of various Feldenkrais-based methods.
Stefanie and Nancy are now planning to give four, six-day seminars for local and international Feldenkrais professionals. These seminars will include practice-oriented learning, individual lessons for children with neurological disorders, and an 'Empowering Parents' workshop. The primary objective is to strengthen the professional network and skill level of European Feldenkrais-based practitioners who are working with children.
